The fifth edition of the Folklore Review is a two-day open event aimed at folk ensembles, dance duos, traditional bands, instrumentalists, vocal groups, folk singers, and storytellers — offering the wider public a unique opportunity to experience the living cultural heritage of the region.

About the venue
The Folklore Review is a two-day open event that launches the Week of Culture in Mogilany. Each year, around 500 performers arrive from ten counties in the Małopolska region (Kraków, Chrzanów, Myślenice, Bochnia, Wieliczka, Miechów, Olkusz, Oświęcim, Proszowice, and Wadowice), as well as from the Silesian Voivodeship (Zawiercie County). The Review is not only a celebration for folk artists — it is also a colorful and vibrant event for a wide audience. As part of the Week of Culture in Mogilany, we create a space for shared experience and the rediscovery of tradition in a modern form. The event will conclude on May 25 at 5:00 PM with a summary of the Review, announcement of the results, and the presentation of statuettes to the winners.
